Food Engineer, with a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Food Technology from UNICAMP. Post-doctorate at WRRC-ARS-USDA, California, USA. With more than 30 years of experience in the field of Food Technology / Cereal Technology. Researcher at Embrapa Food Tehcnology since 1990. Acting in the area of cereal processing and food extrusion at the Cereal Technology Plant. Participates as leader and co-leader of projects in the area of product development mainly using non-traditional raw materials Author and co-author of more than 140 articles in National and International periodicals related to research and development of food and extruded products. Author and co-author of over 160 papers presented at National and International Congresses. Scientific Advisor Ha-doc of FAPESP; CNPq, Arauc√°ria Foundation, Capes, BJFT. He is part of the group of Evaluators of the National System of Evaluation of Higher Education - SINAES / INEP; Member of the Brazilian Society of Food Science and Technology, Brazil.
